Get a referral from your GP (if eligible)

If you’re eligible, obtaining a referral from your GP allows you to claim back a portion of your session fees through Medicare. I’m here to guide you through this step if you need help.

Complete a new client form.

After our call, you’ll fill out a detailed form to share important information about your health, lifestyle, and nutrition needs. This helps me understand how to best support you on your journey.

How long is the session and what is included?

An initial nutrition consultation is one hour. During this session I’ll conduct a detailed nutrition and health assessment so I can fully understand your unique situation. From there we will discuss your goals and together build a nutrition roadmap to define the clear, actionable steps you will need to take to reach your goals. You’ll leave your session with a personalised game plan to guide your first steps.

Can I claim back my session fees through private health or Medicare?

Yes! If your private health cover includes dietetics, you may be able to claim a portion of your fees. An invoice will be issued after each payment, which you can use to make a claim. For Medicare, your GP may provide a Medicare plan depending on your needs, which can offer rebates. With a Medicare care plan from your GP, you’re eligible for a rebate of up to $60.35 per session (and potentially more if you’ve reached your safety net) for each referred session.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

After your session, you’ll receive your session notes along with a link to submit your payment. If you’d like to claim some of the session fees through your private health provider, I’ll send an invoice to use for your claim.

If after my first session I want to continue working with you in your coaching program, is this possible?

Absolutely! If you’d like to transition to my high-touch coaching program, we can pick this up starting from session two. You will be switched over to the fortnightly payment plan for this service. Alternatively, you can book a single 45-minute follow-up consultation for $135 on an as-needed basis.

What does the nutrition guide look like?

I’m not a fan of strict meal plans. My nutrition guides are flexible, offering a "menu" of meal and snack ideas that fit with your preferences and lifestyle. You’ll have a variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options to choose from each week, and we can add to this over time to keep things fresh.
